Mahiya Akter Mim

Mahiya leads product design across the studio, which in practice means she is the person asking why a screen exists before anyone argues about how it looks.

She runs every usability session we do and owns the design system that keeps eight people's work looking like one studio's. Her sessions are short, unglamorous and have killed more features than they have added — which is the point.

Before 4Bit she was in-house at a health platform, where she learned that the interfaces people trust most are the ones they never consciously notice.
