He is deliberately conservative about architecture and deliberately generous about documentation. Every project he leads ships with a README that a stranger could follow, because at some point a stranger will have to.
He came to us from a decade of Laravel and infrastructure work, and he is still the person who asks the awkward question about backups in week one.
A build is not finished until someone else can pick it up without calling me.
